As an Aeronautical Mechanical Engineer and Lecturer with 35 years of experience in the Royal Air Force and Ministry of Defence, I've had the privilege of shaping future professionals.
This extensive career culminated in my role as Head of Profession for the MOD Services (Navy, Army, RAF) Specialist Instructional Officers, where I led and developed expert educators. My journey in academia was enhanced by delivering engaging education (PGCE) in a civilian university setting.
A particular highlight was developing and teaching CAA-approved commercial UAV courses across the UK, a truly rewarding challenge.
My commitment to aviation endures; in addition to having held a Private Pilot Licence, I maintain a strong personal interest in photography, actively engaging with a local camera club to refine my skills. I also find great satisfaction in designing and developing websites.
